WebDec 5, 2024 · Permethrin comes as 'Poultry Dust' at the feed store, and is labeled for use on chickens. It works well, just wear a really good dust mask if you are dusting your birds. I spread the dust in the coop under the bedding too. Warm works wayyyy better than cold hose water. Dip bird fully in (minus face of course) and gently rub/scrub to really soak to the skin. I've had a few birds with really stubborn overloads.
