First of all, when the community said that we wanted playable dragons, we seriously meant playable dragons: quadruped, fire-breathing lizards with wings.

It would make sense that the visage form of the Dracthyr could be any of the available races, depending on which race that specific dragon feels closer to. WebDracthyr can already Soar. It would not imbalance anything, as mounting a flying mount is exactly the same. All it would add is fun. Make it scale with your flying speed and in no-flight areas make it work like a ground mount (hovering / flying low over the ground). Some intern can easily implement it with half a day's work.
